8th Grade Promotion and Celebration Donations 
Welcome Back 8th Grade Parents!
We are so excited for our kids’ 8th grade year and can’t wait to get started on the planning for this year’s events. We want to update you with the information regarding the 8th Grade promotion process and hopefully answer any questions you might have.

8th Grade Details
The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony and Celebration will be held on Wednesday, June 12th in the evening, starting at 6pm. This is a memorable night for our graduates and their families. Throughout the year we will send out information and reminders for yearbook ads, baby pictures, promotion practice times, etc.

Donation Per Student
$70 dollars per student is suggested to cover rentals, programs, and decorations for the Promotion Ceremony. This donation will also cover the cost of food, entertainment and decorations for the Celebration immediately following the ceremony.

Any additional donation will help make the night even more special and is greatly appreciated!

Please note: We ask for this donation up front so that we can determine our budget for the event. This is a voluntary donation amount to cover all costs associated with the Promotion Party and Celebration.

Tickets for the Promotion Ceremony
Each 8th grader may invite up to four guests to the Promotion Ceremony. Additional tickets may be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Guests must have a voucher for admission. So, please complete this form and return it with your donation to the front office. You may also take advantage of on line purchasing now at Online purchasing is preferred. Vouchers will be sent out in the beginning of June 2019 to the email or address on file in the office.

Please note: All photos used in student tribute ads must be school appropriate (follow the school dress code). 
Publishing deadlines are strict. All ads must be reviewed before going to publish. 
If an ad is deemed inappropriate and/or submitted late, a refund will be issued and the ad will not be included in the yearbook.

Promotion Photo Wall Photos - More info to come. 
We are collecting 8x10 photos to go up on the photo wall the night of graduation. We will accept up to (5) 8x10 color photos (do not send originals as they will not be returned). Photos may be individual or small group. We recommend no more than (5) people in a photo. Please identify individuals on backside of photos. Photos can be from any age group, but it is preferred that individuals are MBMS students. Deadline to submit photos is May 18, 2018. Photos with students in bathing suits will not be accepted. Questions?
